PSA: This is not for the bedroom

It’s safe to say that the pajama trend isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Dolce & Gabbana just threw one chic sleepover followed by Chanel’s envious fete. Why would we want to get rid of a trend that lets us consider pajama’s outside of the bedroom entirely acceptable? Just remember to style it so that you don’t look like you belong next to Huge Heftner at a certain mansion …

Whether you’ve been giving this dream-inducing look a go for a while or are just now getting around to dipping your stylish toes into it, keep a few things in mind when taking it to the streets!

  1. Balance it out, especially if you haven’t worn a PJ piece before! I paired this Zara one (similar here and here) with my high-waisted Madewell jeans and a slim belt.
  2. Add heels because let’s be real a killer pair of stilettos up the look just a bit more.
  3. Don’t carry the world’s largest bag with your life in there. Keep accessories to a minimal. This Furla clutch has enough personality that I didn’t need to add any other accessories.

  1. I just bought a pajama top and wanted to find style ideas and found your site. You are rocking this! I love the highwaisted cut off jeans to give this kind of top some structure!
